St. Edward’s Preschool and VPK believes that a nurturing environment allows a young child to feel safe and comfortable and encourages the development of a positive self-concept. Our Story
We strive to uphold and exceed the standard of excellence in pre-school education that our students have enjoyed for over 50 years. This is achieved by providing our children with an engaged and inspired learning environment that encourages development, curiosity and builds confidence. Children have an innate desire to discover and explore the world around them. Programs
Ages 1
These energetic little ones are growing and learning, so we guide their energy into positive learning moments by giving them ample room to move and explore. Here, toddlers receive encouragement and guidance toward the growth of their physical skills and emerging milestones:
Ages 2
Energetic 2-year-olds view their world as their playground. We’ve put together a unique educational approach that focuses their enthusiasm into opportunities for development, growth, and achievement.
Ages 3
Three year olds thrive in a warm, nurturing classroom environment that encourages collaboration and individual growth. In a playful space, filled with fun and friendship, children get a jumpstart on the essential readiness skills to jumpstart their academic career. Building independence, hands-on learning, collaboration and communication skills are key development areas at this age.
Ages 4 | VPK
At this age, children learn to master the necessary skills for kindergarten success. Our center-based environment encourages learning that is social, interactive, and fun! Children in this program gain advancements in problem-solving, implementing language in learning, and collaborative social skills
Events
Throughout the year we offer engaging events such as Firefighter’s Appreciation Visit, Christmas Program, Easter Egg Hunt, Mother’s Day Tea, Trike-A-Thon supporting St. Jude’s Hospital, Trunk-Or-Treat, and so much more!
